Mindful Movement

Relieve stiffness and stress with calm, mindful movement inspired by Tai Chi.

In these sessions, you will practice Tai Chi and Mindful Movement using a combination of gentle movement, breathwork, guided meditation and visualisations. This can be done seated or standing. Tai Chi supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.

Practicing Tai Chi benefits include improving cancer-related fatigue and sleep quality.

Join Kimberley Vallis for a relaxing and rejuvinating Tai Chi session. Kimberley’s gentle and positive style as well as her easy to follow movements can help with sleep quality, reduce fatigue and boost energy.

How do I book?

  1. Go to the table below and click the date you want to attend and click book
  2. You will be sent an email with the zoom link invitation details (you must book your place to get the latest zoom link)
  3. You will also be prompted to complete a Pre-Course Survey which contains a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) so we can ensure your safety. This is mandatory before your first session with Kimberley and participation without it is at your own risk.
  4. If you have additional needs, advanced cancer/bone metastases, significant mobility/balance issues, significant lymphoedema or are on active treatment, our exercise specialists are available for one-to-one support with your exercise programme. Kimberley Vallis

Kimberley is a qualified Tai Chi Qi Gong instructor, as well as Reiki Master and Sound Healer.

Following her own health traumas, she embraced holistic therapies for her own well-being and has trained, and continues to train, in many modalities. Kimberley is also a qualified Forest School leader and loves to work in the great outdoors, in nature with people of all ages and walks of life. Kimberley’s “go with the flow” mantra supports others to feel relaxed, connected and calm. She looks forward to sharing the beautiful practice of Tai Chi as an associate of Penny Brohn UK.

If you have already completed the 12 weeks with Penny Brohn UK, you can also do sessions with Senior Instructor Mabli. This is an external provider, but they have offered a discount for those from Penny Brohn UK.
