The Centre is open to anyone affected by cancer.
You can visit Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm.

Anyone is welcome to come and visit us in person. No appointment needed unless you would like a tour or more information, in which case please contact the client support team to plan your visit: clientsupport@pennybrohn.org.uk

There are lots of things that will always be available for you to do, such as:

    • Stroll around the beautiful gardens.
    • Browse our Visitors Centre which contains lots of things to purchase and plenty of information.
    • Have some reflective time in the sanctuary.
    • Enjoy a cuppa in the Dining Room.
    • Have a quiet read in the library and a look at our selection of books.
    • Get creative in the Art Room (Tues and Thurs).

We have plenty of free parking on site. If you are using a Sat Nav, please use the postcode BS20 0HH to find us.

If you are coming by public transport, you can catch the X4 bus to get to Pill and the stop to get off at is the Anchor Inn. It is then a short walk (5-minute) walk to the centre, which is signposted.

Wellbeing days

Our series of wellbeing days, at our Ham Green House in Pill, near Bristol, are an opportunity to come together with others affected by cancer for a relaxed and inspiring day in beautiful surroundings.

The days are led by our experienced teams, with activities and ideas designed to support your physical and emotional wellbeing. With four themes to choose from, there is something for everyone, with each day offering the opportunity to explore our wonderful house and gardens and connect with others.

The days include lunch, tea breaks and snacks all from our kitchen.

Wellbeing retreats

The aim of our three-day residential cancer retreats is to build on our online and information-based services with an opportunity for people to come together to experience how simple lifestyle changes and self-care tools can improve health and wellbeing with cancer.

The programme has been designed to nourish your mind, body, spirit and emotions with wellbeing techniques, restorative movement, nourishing foods and other uplifting sessions; along with plenty of time for you to connect with others, and enjoy time for yourself.

Wellbeing and creativity workshops

This is a free art course at our centre in Pill, near Bristol. It is provided by SGS College aimed at providing a creative outlet for people who may be going through a difficult period and looking for a way to cope with this through art. All abilities are welcome.
