Penny Brohn UK is a national charity that offers a toolbox of safe, evidence-informed accessible services to help with the physical and emotional impacts of cancer and improve quality of life.
All our services are led by a qualified and experienced multi-professional team and are designed to give people the knowledge and confidence to manage their health and wellbeing with and beyond cancer.
Our unique programme of online, in-person and on-demand support is available to any adult in the UK with any type of cancer and can be accessed free of charge following a simple registration. Cancer patients may self-register and we welcome referrals from healthcare professionals.

Our services
We know that everyone with cancer is an individual with their own preferences and needs. Our personalised approach offers a wide choice of ways for people with cancer to feel more supported and in control of their wellbeing, whatever their needs and prognosis.
Our flagship programme is our multi-professional online Treatment Support Programme (TSP) for anyone preparing for, undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. Led by a medical doctor and cancer nurse specialist and joined by topic experts, the four weekly sessions support physical and emotional resilience through treatment with topics including exercising and eating well, managing stress, and using complementary therapies safely.
In addition, we offer a weekly programme of online sessions, personal consultations and in-person activities, including menopause and lymphoedema support groups, nutrition sessions and movement classes, counselling support and scar care consultations, wellbeing days and residential retreats. All provided by our expert team and free to join.
“All sessions (and questions) were handled professionally, sympathetically and empathically. It was a beacon of light – my treatment was very much based from curing my disease. And Penny Brohn was about helping me wholistically come to terms with a cancer diagnosis.” (TSP client)
Good to know
Our services are designed to complement but are never a replacement for conventional cancer treatments and we always recommend that patients check any advice with their oncology team. Services are offered by a qualified and experienced team drawing on evidence and best practice in integrative cancer care. All services adhere to our clinical governance framework and are robustly evaluated.
In a recent service evaluation, 100% of our Treatment Support Programme clients said they would recommend the service to others going through treatment and 90% said it had helped them to feel more confident about getting through treatment.
“The compassion shown by people and the safe space to speak out is amazing. I have never felt so vulnerable in my life since diagnosis and it was a relief to be able to speak frankly in a way that can be tricky to verbalise to family and friends.” (TSP client)
