Treatment support programme
Are you preparing for, undergoing, or recovering from cancer treatments like chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy or surgery (completed within the last 3 months)?
Would you like to build your physical and emotional resilience to cope better with treatment, get help managing symptoms and side effects, have a greater sense of wellbeing and quality of life, and meet and share with others who are going through similar experiences?
If so, please come and join us on our Treatment Support Programme which runs on a Thursday morning on Zoom. This four-session programme is led by a medical Doctor and each week they are joined by one of our expert team to explore evidence-based ways to support your health and wellbeing before, during and after cancer treatment.
Thursdays 10am – 12:15pm
First Thursday of the month: Keeping Active through Treatment
Second Thursday of the month: Managing Worry, Mindset and Emotions through Treatment
Third Thursday of the month: Eating Well through Treatment
Fourth Thursday of the month: Incorporating Complementary Therapies safely through Treatment
It is intended that people do all four sessions (once only). You are welcome to do all four sessions consecutively or at your own pace.
If you have any questions about the service before booking, please contact our Client Support team by phoning 0303 3000 118 (Mondays – Fridays, 10am – 4pm) or emailing clientsupport@pennybrohn.org.uk).
