NGS Open Garden Day 2025
The National Garden Scheme (NGS) Open Day returns to the Penny Brohn UK Centre again this year!

Our four acres of landscaped gardens are lovingly maintained by our team of volunteer gardeners. Each area of the garden has been designed to encourage visitors to explore and enjoy the natural world. Our gardens are a big part of what we do; giving people who visit them the chance to explore nature and provide a place to relax despite the stress and anxiety they may be experiencing.
Teas, cakes, plants for sale and music will all be available on the day. Plenty of outside space to bring and enjoy your own picnic with the whole family.

Herb planter demo with Jo | 2:00pm
On the day, Jo will guide you through how you can create a stunning herbal planter for your kitchen windowsill while touching upon some of the medicinal and culinary benefits a lot of the herbs contain.
Session just £5, with spaces limited, so make sure to use the link below to secure your tickets.
This demo will last about 15-20 minutes, with time for questions throughout.
The New Yorchestra
The New Yorchestra is a dynamic Bristol orchestra. Players of all ages who enjoy rehearsing together (at the Penny Brohn UK centre in Pill on a Thursday evening) and sharing the magic of music. They perform a diverse mix of jazz, pop, traditional classical and musical and movie hits.
The Bristol Ukulele Club Band
The Bristol Ukulele Club Band are one of the longest running Uke clubs in Bristol, who first started strumming together at The Colosseum pub in 2011, and now meet at the Luckwell Pub near Ashton Gate every Sunday evening for a strum and a laugh! They play gigs all around the Bristol area including charity gigs and have been fortunate enough to have played some great gigs including guest spots on Radio Bristol and local T.V. channel ‘Made In Bristol’.
