Camino De Santiago Trek
Join us on a classic Camino de Santiago experience – trekking the final 67km of the famous Camino Frances – the French Way.
Location: Starting from Palas de Rei
Trekking distance: Approx 42 miles

Starting in Palas de Rei, we begin our three-day trekking adventure along this popular pilgrimage route. We will trek through rolling green landscapes, traditional villages and picturesque woodlands on our way to Santiago, discovering local traditions and meeting fellow pilgrims along the way.
Today the Camino is more than a pilgrimage, it is a remarkable journey and a unique experience. Our final destination is the magical Santiago Old Town, a wonderful UNESCO World Heritage site, home to the stunning Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela!
Funding Options
Minimum sponsorship
You pay a registration fee, and we cover the balance of your trip from your sponsorship raised.

Minimum sponsorship required: £2,300
Self-funded
You pay a registration fee when signing up, and agree to cover the balance of your trip cost.
Registration fee: £199
Your payment towards challenge costs: £1,150
Sponsorship pledge: No set target, we just ask that you raise as much as you can.
Global Adventure Challenges advice is that you need to have a reasonable level of fitness in order to take part, but you do not need to be ‘super fit’ or a professional athlete! It is suggested that you slowly build up your fitness levels in the lead up to your challenge.
How we’ll support you
Our Fundraising Team will support you all the way, from your initial welcome pack through to congratulating you on your achievement. We will send you a Penny Brohn UK t-shirt to wear on the challenge along with regular training and fundraising updates to make sure you have the best experience.
