Some healthy snacks in bowls on a yellow table

Nutrition café (in-person)

Nutrition café with Victoria Kubiak, a member of the Penny Brohn UK nutrition team.

Come and pop into our Penny Brohn UK cookery room for our nutrition café! This is an in-person version of our popular online nutrition café.

Pull up a chair and grab your favourite drink and a snack, for a relaxed group session, hosted by our nutritional therapist, Victoria Kubiak. A lovely, relaxed session to come together and connect with others about all things food related. Ask Victoria about hot topics regarding food, diet and cancer, while sharing ideas, tips and tricks as a group.

FAQs

This session is aimed at people living with cancer and supporters and carers are welcome to attend too.

Please note that anyone with questions for Victoria that are complex and personalised and cannot be answered safely in a group session, without a full case history, will be directed to our one-to-one consultations if required.

This session is a group discussion, peer support and Q&A format and there will not be a cooking demonstration or food available as part of the session. However please help yourself to hot and cold drinks in the dining room.

The Penny Brohn UK shop in the reception area also has some snacks available to purchase, and we also encourage you to book in for lunch in the dining room beforehand if you’d like to make a lovely afternoon of your visit.

No – just yourselves and any questions you may have, topics you’d like to discuss, or recipe or food ideas you’d like to share with the group.

The suggested donation is £5 per person, however if you cannot afford this, we simply ask you to give what you can, if you can. We welcome any donation to Penny Brohn UK so that we can continue to offer support to others in the future.
