About the race
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run is known as the best running event in the South West.
Each year, thousands of runners take to the city streets to take on the scenic route. The stunning views, inspiring history and graffiti murals are some of the sights you’ll see during the course. The flat route makes this a great route to run and perfect for those wishing to gain a new PB.

How do I enter?
Secure your spot via the Great Bristol Run website and then get in touch with our Fundraising Team to let us know you’re running as part of the team!
If you select ‘Penny Brohn UK’ during the sign-up process, they will then let us know that you are running for us. However, please do get in touch, as we’d love to hear from you.

How much does it cost?
You’ll need to pay the registration fee when signing up on the Great Bristol Run website, and then we ask you to raise any amount that you can. Our suggested fundraising targets are £100 for a 10K and £150 to £250 for a half-marathon. Feel free to set your target higher if you feel more ambitious!
Every penny you raise will enable us to continue our vital support, helping even more people to live well with cancer in 2026 and beyond.
What’s the best way to fundraise?
We recommend setting up a fundraising page through JustGiving or Enthuse. This is a great way for your family and friends to sponsor you online and track your fundraising. You can also pay sponsorship money to us through our donation form on our website.
