Sexual intimacy after cancer: video resources
The two videos on this page were recorded in January 2022 as part of our Resilience Room series. We are very grateful to Dr Isabel White who led these sessions for us.
The first video covers sexual health issues mostly associated with female anatomy, and the second video covers issues mostly associated with male anatomy. The impact of cancer and cancer treatment on sexual intimacy are often similar and you may find the information relevant regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
We aim to be as inclusive as possible and this session is for anyone whose intimate relationship is affected by cancer, including those who identify as LGBTQ+.
We discuss how diagnosis and treatments can cause changes in sexual wellbeing and, importantly, what can help sexual adjustment and where to seek support and practical advice.
