I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London, the oldest and largest osteopathy college in Europe, with a Masters level degree. My five year osteopathic training included in depth study of anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology and rheumatology as well as employing a wide variety of osteopathic technique and principles such as spinal adjustment and soft tissue.
I have over 1000 clinical experiences under the guidance of qualified osteopaths and experience in working in several clinics including elderly care homes, hospitals and children’s clinics, as well as working with the homeless. I chose osteopathy as I had first hand experience of the transformation it can achieve, and I have seen the profound changes it can make to peoples’ lives. I was so enthused by the results that I changed my career path, from that of qualified accountant to qualified osteopath.

For over 10 years I have been educating myself in a wide range of therapies. My main aim in doing this was to make sure I had a great tool kit to help anyone with a chronic or acute condition. I have also been doing a different kind of learning; in 2019 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and as I see it, I went through a modular learning course that will help support my clients as soon as I was able. An 18 month course of treatment that was an invaluable learning opportunity for me. What did I learn most? It is very individual. Each treatment is different, each reaction is unique. I work closely with my clients to design a progressive treatment and self-management programme, that not only suits their lifestyle but improves their quality of life.
I have specialisms, such as Lymphoedema management, ScarWork and Reflexology, but my 10 years of training provides a wealth of additions that can be incorporated to support you. I treat clients during treatment, post treatment, living with and palliative care.
I happily provide a free phone consultation to discuss your needs.

This has developed from many years working in client focussed roles. My belief is that a strong relationship aids the therapeutic process.
I have worked extensively in post-natal and peri-natal mental health, clients living with cancer, bereavement, loss, trauma and abuse. Alongside this I have worked with eating disorders, self-harm, addiction, life transitions, panic disorders, relationships, anxiety and depression.

As a somatic-based relational therapist, I specialise in integrating body-focused, cognitive, and relational approaches to guide individuals on their path to greater well-being.
With over 20 years of experience working from a body-based perspective, I have come to appreciate the wisdom our bodies carry as a vast reservoir of our deepest experiences, emotions, and beliefs. By gently reconnecting with the body, we can uncover meaningful insights and foster lasting change. My training in Somatic Experiencing, sensory integration, body work, somatic attachment modalities, and counselling informs a holistic and integrative approach that is tailored to each individual’s needs. This approach supports individuals reconnect with themselves, heal from past wounds, and move toward a more peaceful and empowered future.
I have more than ten years’ experience supporting individuals navigating nervous system differences including those arising from trauma. This includes both one-time traumatic events and the cumulative impact of long-term, multi-layered traumas, often experienced in early relationships. I recognise that such experiences shape how we engage with the world and relate to others, as well as how we understand ourselves. By working together to gently reconnect with the body, process past experiences, and create space for embodied corrective experiences, we can foster an exploration of self-rediscovery, build increased safety and stability, and move toward a sense of embodied belonging and overall well-being.
This integrative approach supports individuals who may be experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment wounds, relationship difficulties, grief, shame, and struggles with boundary-setting.

We conduct many fitting clinics and support groups around the UK reaching out to ladies who are about to start treatment for breast cancer, are going through treatment, or indeed have finished treatment and wish to get refitted with comfortable mastectomy wear. We know through talking to our customers that they desperately need somewhere to talk to a breast care specialist who’s knowledgeable about what products suit and work after surgery. They want to get away from the more clinical surroundings of a hospital, and we bridge that gap between the medical and the new normal.
